The School has an open admission and welcomes applications through the year. Where there are waiting lists, siblings and children of Nordic origin are given priority. In addition, the School strives to compose groups where there is a balance between the number of boys and girls, ages and language abilities.

From Year 1 there are pre-requisites in the teaching language (Swedish or English).

To apply for a place in preschool, primary or lower secondary:

1. (Optional step) Visit our School in action. Every Tuesday @ 2.30 pm we open our doors to interested parents and do a guided tour of the school.  To participate, please send us a message to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. • Name of child/children
• Date of birth of child/children
• Academic year/s in which you are interested in
• Section you are interested in (Swedish or English speaking)
• Date you would like to visit (Thursdays @ 2.30 pm only)
• Contact number
• Any other information that you think may be useful for us

2. Fill in and return application form. Form can be returned by mail (Admissions, Camino Ancho 14, 28109 Alcobendas, Madrid), by hand or by emailing a scanned copy of the form.

3. Pay the application fee. Instructions on how to do this can be found on the application form.

4. Once the school has received the application form/s and applicable fees, your child/children will be put on the waiting list. You will receive an email to confirm this.

5. If your application is for year 1 and above, we may invite you for a language assessment in the teaching language (Swedish or English).

6. During the month of February we confirm places for the following school year for our current  families. In March we start offering places based on the waiting list.

• No later than March 31st you should have heard from us, either with an offer of a place for the following school year or confirmation that no place is currently available.
• To secure a place offered, the enrolment fee must be paid.
• If no place is available you can choose to remain on the waiting list or withdraw from the list.
