The Scandinavian School in Madrid run according to the Swedish national curricula, the Swedish Education Act, course syllabi and other steering documents. The School is accredited by the school authorities in Norway, Finland and Denmark to offer the Swedish curricula. The School is supervised by the Swedish National Agency for Education.

We work according to Scandinavian pedagogics which are child/student and learner centered. We work with mixed-age groups with individualised tuition

Our language of instruction is Swedish and we provide mothertongue tuition in the other nordic languages from Primary, school year 1.

We provide Spanish language tuition from pre-school, English from Primary year 2, and French from Secondary year 1.

Our international pre-school section is characterised by a bilingual approach with native English and Spanish speaking pedagogues.
